The Estaa shelf surprises with its organic, sleek lines and its circular rope inlays. Three ideas dear to Maar are at the origin of this shelf: tie, link, assemble. These ancestral gestures are sufficient in themselves to create a room that has its place in the entire house. Simple and natural materials are sublimated by the hand of artisans and thus express their decorative character.
The Estaa shelf is made from solid oak from French forests, machined by a carpentry located in Brittany.
The polished hemp septains are woven using traditional techniques by one of the oldest rope makers in France located in Corrèze. It is then spiraled and sewn by Nadine, a basket maker in Brittany.
What may appear to you as irregularities are manifestations of Estaa's artisanal manufacturing, they give it singularity and character.
