Two ideas dear to Maar are the origin of the Mira hook: link & assemble. Like a disc, a primary, essential form, Mira evokes the infinite, the universal which connects men and reveals itself to be resolutely modern.
The Mira hook is made from solid oak from French forests, turned by Jérémy's family turning mill in Brittany.
The glazed earthenware insert is made by Juline in Montpellier in France.
What may seem like irregularities are manifestations of Mira's artisanal manufacturing, they give it singularity and character.
